    Miami and Ohio State peaked in the sense they were clicking on all cylinders especially defensively once the CFP came around. 2024 Texas had some question marks throughout the season that followed them til the end, particularly o line/run game/red zone and Quinn’s inconsistencies (health was major factor there). To answer the question, peaking at the right time is important in all sports. Especially with an expanded CFP, there’s a little more margin for error earlier on than later in the season. Even 2024 ND made the natty after losing to NIU early.

    Don’t understand why Tech still wants to play Sorsby at this point. This will be hung over their heads til the end of time. He’s not some preseason heisman candidate and he has only one season of eligibility left. Their strategy is just to buy all their players via portal anyways… just try again the next year.

    Youth played a role for sure, but I think Mike Brown deserves a lot of credit making adjustments throughout the series. Plenty of teams would have folded especially in game 4.
