    It will be hard to close the gap on McGuire. I have a feeling this could backfire on LSU. It either means they have depth problems at certain positions or Lane is just telling kids who earned their spot to move over. Neither will go well in recruiting.

    It makes sense. I don’t think Hendrick would come back to college to be a 2nd string LB. Don’t know much about UCLA but I’d assume he’d have a much bigger role there.

    Shot in the thigh and needed surgery. Really sad story, but thankfully it wasn’t more serious. Their backup Roberts is a dog and will probably have a 1000 yard season

    I hear you. Truly crazy times we’re in. Putting myself in his shoes…if my gripe was about playing time, the last thing I would do is quit and have nowhere to play for a whole season.

    Lots of comments calling him a quitter and a diva. To me it’s odd that he came back for about a week and is gone again. Makes me feel like there is a personal issue going on rather than just his role.

    I wouldn’t put it past anybody to be honest. You don’t want to end the season asking “what if?” It’s a long season and if someone can come in as depth and learn on the go it’s something the staff needs to consider.

    Teams also have to consider how that affects the locker room imo. Players work their tail off and earn a starting spot only for someone to come in last minute and take it.

    Pretty sure everyone was in agreement the Cole Hutson thing was crazy as well. Teams taking advantage of the rulings isn’t the issue it’s the fact that it’s even possible in the first place.
