Baseball Thoughts…

…first off congrats to the team on a great season.  I don’t claim to be a college baseball coach, but doesn’t mean I can’t have opinions.  Hat tip to Georgia’s coaches for their game plan against Texas.

Pound the strike zone on first pitch until Texas proves they aren’t taking until they get a strike.  Throw it right over the middle of the plate until Texas proves they aren’t taking until they get a strike.  Once you get Texas batter down 0-1, throw a slider that starts over the plate and breaks off the plate.  Once you have Texas batter down 0-2, or even 1-2, congrats you have a huge advantage.

I know Texas’ MO is seeing a lot of pitches, but come on, that first pitch is meat so often.

Just a little frustrated, but still love my Horns, and the trajectory they’re on.  Hook’em!!!
