Agree, I’m hoping Texas gives the criminals a run for the best defense this season. I think it’s definitely possible.

• Disagree.  Georgia is the best team in the SEC until someone takes it from them.
• Disagree.  Pete Golding is a defensive minded HC and losing Kiffin/Weis Jr.'s playcalling could cause them to regress offensively more than they think, even with Chambliss and Lacy returning.
• Disagree.  I think Georgia or Texas will have the best defense in the SEC.
• Agree.  He could be a finalist if Texas has the season many think they will.
• Agree.  The extra conference game increases the chance for an extra loss that could keep you out of the CFP.  Vandy went 10-2 last season and still got left out of the dance.

Doesn’t matter since ND is GUARANTEED a spot if they’re in the Top 10. Insane agreement. Everybody not ND loses.

Dumb to blame the CFP Committee's malfeasance if duty in not evaluating Strength of Schedule as they are charged to do.  Someone has to hold their feet to the fire for their irresponsibility!!  Playing a softer schedule is not the correct solution.

SEC going to 9 game conference schedule only further supports 24 team playoff.   SEC would get 8-9 teams in every year and they’d be better prepared for playoff run after facing depth of SEC

First 8 get week 1 bye

9-16 host 17-24

1-8 host winners in week 2

Everything else the same:

Week 3 on NY Day with 4 bowl games (1 on NYE) followed by Semi finals and finals.   Time to finalize and let’s stop looking at conf s heduke as a negative.   It’s huge positive once you make playoffs, better prepared for deep run.

Daniel has made a nice media career for himself but all I’ll ever remember him for is the BS he talked ahead of the 2008 home game and inviting a hell of a home atmosphere in an ass kicking.
