With John Meredith III reclassifying to 2026 and enrolling at Texas, let's take a look at where Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports ranked the star cornerback. 

Rivals -- No. 4 cornerback, No. 32 overall player 

ESPN -- No. 1 cornerback, No. 3 overall player 

247Sports -- 5-star grade (98), no positional slotting

I still see Texas in the 7-8 range with 247 and Rivals. 

ESPN's class rankings is hard to navigate but it certainly moves Texas up.

Of course rivals would be the one to buck the trend and try to make john not as good all of a sudden

Do we think he's only sticking around for 3 years with the reclassification? Or does he treat this like a bonus year and stay for four?
