I think Indiana finishing #1 this year is going way out on a limb!! Indiana’s schedule is a little tougher this year with tOSU, Michigan and USC on it and I think they could lose 2 of those games.  I think the real secret sauce was Mendoza and don’t see J Hooper leading Indians to an undefeated or 1 loss season and that is what being seeded #1 says.

I don’t think Ole Miss makes the playoffs and definitely won’t win the SEC and having them 4th is saying just that!!

Penn St making playoff is a tip of the cap to new coach but I think they will struggle.

My predicted CFP rankings at end of Reg. Season:

1) ND (easy schedule undefeated)

2) Oregon

3)Texas

4)Miami

5) Georgia

6) tOSU

7) Indiana

8. LSU

9) Alabama

10) USC

11) big 12 or ACC runner-up (no clue)

12) G6 (who cares!)

You’re bullish on bama. Very curious to see if he is turning it around. I think an undefeated big12 will be higher than a non undefeated sec team especially if they start highly ranked.

I think Chambliss and Lacey are good players but is the guy they brought into be OC from East Carolina better than Kiffin/Weiss? I don't think so. I'm a bit iffy on Bama, have to see who the starting QB is first but I think people think Bama isn't "good" anymore because they're actually human now. With Saban they felt otherworldly. DeBoer isn't even doing that bad of a job, it's just that people expect more from Bama or have come to anyway.

Hoover will have some really good weapons around him just not sure I would've attached my wagon to him being my guy.

It’s fun to just say he sucks but no one shared what you’d do differently. Tech is a great example. They are probably going to end up with a higher seed than us unless we run the table because they lack competition. I’m not saying he’s right but drop your lists.

1. Texas

2. Oregon

3.  Miami

4. Ohio State

5. Georgia

6. Penn State

7. Boise State

8. Michigan

9. A&M

10. Indiana

11. Texas Tech

12. Notre Dame

I got to tell ya … I would take it right now. In the playoffs is all I care about … then let’s the chips fall

Agreed!

With the schedule that we have and pretty much each SEC at the top has, it will be very tough to match the W-L records of the top Big10 teams and definitely minor conferences like Big12. We’ve seen W-L is the trump card. It’s not in our favor.

Playoffs or bust is my want this year. We can take care of business one on one with the wannabes once we hit the playoffs.
