So you’re just a contrarian. Got it. Of course he owes us wins. It is literally the primary reason a coach keeps or loses his job. Ever see a Bill Belichick press conference? He waxed poetic while fielding media questions.

His replies could never appease you. It’d be dumb for him to sit there and say he suck’s. The problem is we arent seeing changes to win games. He owes us wins, not words.

Some of yall are funny. Ridiculous but funny. Brains, not balls, are required. Learning relationships, how to learn what you want to know by asking intelligently, maintaining healthy relationships so you’re not cut off, etc. Sark doesn’t owe us answers. He does owe a better product and he’ll either become less stubborn or he’ll be elsewhere. Press conference musings mean nothing in the the real world no matter the size of balls.

Sark knows football better than most humans. “He is not that sharp” says more about the poster than sark. Sark isn’t arrogant. If anything, he is stubborn. the reality is that neither ewers nor manning are elite QBs. People, me included, ragged on sark for not moving to manning sooner. We’re all seeing why. Ewers was essential in subtly bringing players here to turn the program. Arch was a rain maker when he signed. I think both have the fatal flaw of weak processing. Now Sark is a bit screwed. It’s a lose/lose moving on from arch. It’d probably tank the season unless Lacey is farther along than we know. Other high profile QBs will note sark bailed mid season. It’s a crap sandwich. sark’s failure, and I don’t know this, is not altering his system to maximize arch’s strengths. This is what I don’t get but I have to wonder if he’s tried it in practice and arch still can’t see the field but now there’s fewer blockers so processing flaws are exacerbated. I think the right question would have been how do you improve (or what would you like to see differently on) real time checks and/or last minute audibles when they’re necessary.

I don’t care that he’s a ga guy. I loathe a lack of objectivity. Do people overly blame refs for losing? Sure. Can refs make critical decisions late in games that significantly altar an outcome? Absolutely. Are today’s refs at an all time incompetent, or worse, biased high? Unquestionably. He should use his platform to improve the overall game first and then honk for ga.

You have no idea. None of us do but it’s neither sark nor arch. It’s both but it’s a leader’s job to effectively, and efficiently, recognize the coachees floor/ceiling. Arch was raised to not make waves and sark likes to joystick too much. It’s not a great combo.

Don’t do it

Now show him pulling. He’s solid in this role but when asked to move, his achilles shows and oddly no tn tape. Connor can’t anchor because of his size and we had to move Baker in because we jacked up the guard recruiting and development for years. I’m a bunk fan but they’re highlighting a player developed by another program. I don’t get flood defenders. I care that we still can’t pick up stunts. I care that we slept for 3 recruiting cycles. I care that others can game plan for our slide protections which implies we aren’t changing them or creative in disguising. He isn’t awful but what has he shown at Texas that says he will get us over the hump? We upgraded from pk so why is it blasphemous to want to upgrade from flood? And no, I don’t have a choice, that’s sark’s job. We should have a back up center ready to replace connor as he’s been here 5 years but we don’t. That’s unfathomable. We don’t have a 3rd or 4th year player that can push him when he’s struggling but flood’s great… I hope I’m wrong and we are the 90’s cowboys ol soon. Carry on lol 🤘🏽

Sad if that’s true. Hoping cdc and sark simply value very basic respect and decency. Though, a few minutes later they were mugging with cigars in a tweet from a coach. Actions speak far louder than any prepped words. They are your responsibility, not friends. It’s a very fine line that they need to clearly differentiate. Shouldn’t need cigars, ill thought out celebrations, etc to have fun. The concern is Colin has long done things like over chirping or purposely bumping people unnecessarily, etc. Just make plays and others will hoist you up.

lol. I started responding to each point but there isn’t one if you think a rb fumble and 2 dropped passes by “elite” receivers is out of our control. The odd bounce after it went through cam’s hands is atypical but it wasn’t a circus catch and one of Arch’s better deep throws this year. Sexier is an odd comment. All folks are doing is extrapolating our current weaknesses to see where we might get tripped up. I simply can’t comprehend those of you that want to wish away our vulnerabilities. It makes zero sense. It also doesn’t negate what we do well. What do y’all think Sark and team are doing right now? They’re, hopefully, pressure testing all of it after the 1st 1/3. Literally, recognizing our deficiencies is the only way we have any shot at a championship season. If one is bothered that anyone other than Sark and team has an opinion, disconnect your internet. We all want them to win. 🤘🏽

Why are you a member of something that thrives on different perspectives and opinions? Every P4 coach in the history of ever has known more. We yall at clouds and the tv anytime the perceived talent outweighs the results. It’s simple and fun to try to figure it out. I doubt anyone here truly thinks they speak from a position of superiority to Sark. We enter this forum knowing we are arm chair, pseudo coaches taking out the backside. It doesn’t mean the opinions are completely off as the proverbial blind squirrel but no one knows the game or locker room better than just about any actual coach (though I know we are blessed with some here!). Quoting reality: he’s right. It’s so ignorant, or whatever word, to deny we are clearly not the best team in the country right now. It’s objectively true. Top 5 defense. Very mid and inconsistent offense. We beat number one but that was also only one good quarter of football and the heat. Also, who gives a 💩 about the ranking? Not anyone serious right now though that could include some of the team with the antics and a coach tweeting pics with cigars. We have more cigar tweets than playoff wins under Sark.

Some of yall are embarrassing. Have some boundaries, dignity, and basic respect. If not for yourself, how about for the school? It isn’t a singular action. It’s a mentality. He does stupid things. He bumps people, he has to do some dumb celebration after doing basic plays that he’s overpaid to do, and shows zero conviction in his apology. He says wants to be a leader. Well, he is and it shows by giving brown the green light to do something equally stupid. Millions of views of this in a Texas uniform and people here want to downplay it? Millions.
