Trevor Goosby Update (took part in practice)

A source told OTF late last night that All-SEC left tackle Trevor Goosby has begun light jogging/running in his rehab process to get back on the field. He's progressing as expected. The source still doesn't expect him to play vs. Texas State, as of now. 

It's a very minor update I know, but just wanted to update you guys on the latest I heard. 

I'm quite sure Steve Sarkisian will have more on Goosby at the 11:30am game week press conference. 
 

Steve Sarkisian just said Trevor Goosby took part in practice today. To what extent, he didn’t go into.

Sit him until he’s healthy. We have a long, grueling schedule. No need to rush him back. Next man up has to get it done.

This doesn’t sound like the path to playing next weekend if he’s just starting to jog this week.

Has there been any comment on the goal is for him to back for OSU or has it just been unspoken/assumed.  
 

kinda feel like we should play it safe and hold out til Tennessee

Sit him until Tennessee - need him for the long run and can’t risk reinjuring

Best case scenario is he would improve enough to get one series Saturday
