  1. Truthfully, arch will receive far more criticism than the game plan or inability to get separation from the receivers. pocket’s were closing faster and you can only rely on so many bubble/wr screens for so long I imagine there’s a limited play sheet for last nights game and I feel like Coleman tapped out in the 2nd quarter. get the W, go out as healthy as possible and have a lot of good film to improve on. better to make mistakes last night than lunchtime in Knoxville. would you rather be arch vs tenn D or a true frosh vs Hero and Co. ps. Let’s show some love to Hero’s post tackle dance.
  2. Arch’s smile while running on the field post game will forever be a thing.
  3. Ohio state o line made our d line look weak. Spence had a good game, so did Simmons. Biles had a tough 1q but other than that he was solid—same as cryer. safety play and DBs were suspect first 30 mins of the game
  4. I had far too many lemon pepper wings last night and my digestions off too
  5. Not trying to jynx anything here but my honest take is Texas wins decidedly. what has improved this year: Ohio state receivers: Lost Tate, were better last year OSU Rb: better this year OSU OL: undeniably worse now do that for Texas … then ask which qb in last years game was further away from how they’ve performed recently Texas wins by 2 tds or more
  6. Has there been any comment on the goal is for him to back for OSU or has it just been unspoken/assumed. kinda feel like we should play it safe and hold out til Tennessee
  7. Planning a trip there and don’t want to be all Texas’d out looking for Vols to welcome me to tailgates.
  8. No idiots on here, just passionate longhorns handling the excitement in a variety of ways.
  9. It’s crazy the panic. The Ty scenario is crazy to me. the guy wasn’t a starter and younger guys are stepping up all preseason —-we are told. He’s removed and then we say the defense was HUMMING in the scrimmage. Listen, I feel bad for the guy but he’s an adult and made choices that aren’t acceptable. if arch plays just as good as he did in the second half and wingo is sure handed we are the MOST feared team in the nation, we might’ve been at the end of last year with less depth and Anthony hill sitting out
  10. I’m not saying we are a lock for the natty. I’m just saying the panic this weekend between Ty and sarks comments on arch are wild.
  11. Last year Week 1 was Ohio State and Arch was still raw. This year is different. We’ve got a clearly better offensive line, a stronger running back room, and a deeper, more talented receiver group. We also get a softer Week 1 opponent to let things gel before Ohio State comes to DKR — a massive home-field advantage. The linebacker concerns are being overblown. Yes, depth could be tested at times, but that’s just college football. How many teams actually have two full lines of reliable LBs? Panic would be justified if we hadn’t landed Biles and Cryer. We did. Plus two freakish rookies. Meanwhile Bo Mascoe and Phillips are playing so consistently well that they barely even get mentioned. People need to relax and be patient. Sark cutting a player shows real strength in the locker room and confidence in the depth. Admit it — weak locker rooms will tolerate much worse situations—-NIL times you can’t turn off donors with detrimental conduct SECURE THE BAGS! And one more thing: no QB scrambles in the scrimmage. That’s a defensive coordinator’s wet dream in real games. Nobody wants to have to account for Arch as a run threat.
