Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 2 hours ago Moderators Posted 2 hours ago ESPN article: September CFP superlatives From ESPN this morning. CFP storylines that begin now 1. Can Sark lead Texas to the national championship? Since he was hired as head coach in 2021, Steve Sarkisian has lost 12 games in AP-ranked matchups. That's tied with Penn State for the most during that span. He's 1-6 against Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State, and 3-12 against teams in the top 10 of the final AP poll. So yes, the team he has overfloweth with talent. It's good enough to match up against any team in the country. The question is if Sarkisian can parlay it into wins against other national title contenders. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49735073/college-football-playoff-watch-september Quote

BurntOrangeHorn Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago These articles always omit that Texas in season victories often determine who falls from the final season top ten polls. There are only two teams Texas has to beat. Before Sark there were about 15 teams to which Texas could lose. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿 1 Quote
Sanka Decaf Posted 5 minutes ago Posted 5 minutes ago Healthy CJ in 2024 and I think we beat Ohio state. Accurate kicker in the SEC championship, I think we beat Georgia. Neither was on Sark the way Franklin’s decision-making in games seemed to put some losses more on him. Quote
