  1. officiating in that vandy game at the end was crazy. If only I had had a water bottle . . . just kidding.
  2. Quinn on this list twice - injured both seasons, right?
  3. Really appreciate this analysis. As I started reading, the first question that popped into my mind - is it more on the offense (to stay on the field longer) or the defense (to get off the field quicker). Regardless of what the status show, last year, it felt like our offense went into long stretches of 3 and out in many games. I'd love to see more opening possession (on offense) sustained drives that result in touchdowns (or at least points). It may not be statistical, but it seems that psychologically, if you can score on a methodical opening drive, it has a lot more effect that just that seven points. Thanks for going down this rabbit hole!
  4. Will the pollsters have the guts to move teams ahead of ND when those teams beat ranked opponents, or will the pollsters just keep ND where it is because they look the part walloping the inferior opponents that dot their schedule? There are easily 4-5 teams that could have a great record with much better wins . . . but there's only room for 1 ahead of ND based on this early take.
  5. You need to adjust for inflation (and Arch's relative worth compared to Lee Majors).
  6. Provably some other 2 star that leads them to another natty.
  7. It should be noted that playing a softer schedule keeps guys fresh and healthy. They were blowing out competition most of the year. That’s not to take anything away from their amazing coach and discipline and play. Just pointing out that a key injury can throw off everything. They avoided that. Would they have avoided it with some other tougher schedules? I think they are still the best team in college football as they are now and if they stayed healthy with anyone’s schedule, they still would be but would they have stayed as healthy.
  8. Who would you rather listen to in the second half of a blowout - this crew or Kirk and Reece?
  9. He may just stay in the locker room and watch K-pop too.
  10. I had the same type of 10 speed!
  11. 100%. But you need coaches that see the right potential and maximize it. In Sark we trust.
  12. Indiana is duck hunting but loaded for bear.
  13. Hard to believe Indiana almost lost to Penn State.
  14. Is it just me or does half the Indiana team look like they are grown men?
  15. Thoughts and prayers for Jordan and the Shipley family 🙏🙏🙏
  16. Bethesda, MD, but spend a fair amount of time in Austin too these days. Hook’em!
  17. Indiana proving that a bye doesn’t have to create rust. Well-coached, disciplined, focused team. Very impressive.
  18. Merry Christmas to all from the DC area! Hook’em!
  19. Now that the die is cast, there is a lot of value for a team to play an extra competitive game. Experience for players AND coaches. Culture. Revenue. Another chance for fans to see their team play. It’s a business and there is value for next year. I want to see arch a bit more and to see more of Lacey. I want to see more Simon. I want the seniors to pass on a culture moment to the younger players. I want the coaches to experiment.
  20. The committee showed this year they they don’t have an issue moving ND a spot (or more) at the last minute. Can’t wait until next year when ND is 12 going into final weekend and end up 13. 🤪
  21. Oregon is waayyy more at risk of a huge injury than a loss in that game. They will look to get second and third string in as quickly as possible.
  22. Looks like it should just be Indiana v Georgia this year. Watch the committee mess this one up too and put them both in the same semifinal.
  23. If you think about it, that can’t always be true. It only works if your resume as an at large team stands on its own. If it didn’t matter than no one would switch positions. It does matter - they just want to artificially control how big or little it matters. If Miami was correctly put in ahead of ND and played in the ACC championship and lost, they would have been knocked out of the CFP. Every game has to matter (I mean it should).
