Longhorns first of position draft odds

I saw a mock draft that BR did with Arch 3rd and Goosby, Simmons, and Coleman in top 10. 

 

Got me wondering... What are the percentages and the over/under on how many horns go first for their position.

I put the odds at 1.5, currently, and it seems like there are 5 possible if they each play great. 

Arch:50% chance to go first

Top competition: Mensah, Carr, Moore

 

Simmons: 75%

Competition: Stewart

Goosby 75%

Competition: Season

 

Coleman/Wingo 15% (higher chance for Coleman, obviously)

Competition: Jeremiah Smith

 

McDoland: 35%

Competition: KJ Bolden, Tae Johnson

 

It will be interesting not just how the top 10 plays out, but where each of these land in their position group.

Jordan Seaton would be competition for Goosby unless you’re only showing specifically LT

You’re stacking the odds a bit high on Simmons and Goosby honestly, especially with Seaton nipping at left tackle. I’d lean the under on 1.5 total, since even one position group could easily flip on any given day during the draft season. That said, I’ve been tracking line movement and prospect rankings over at toto when I need to sanity-check my own over/under takes, and it’s been a handy tool for that. I’d keep an eye on McDonald too, because Bolden’s athletic testing could shake things up late.

You can safely rule out WR position, it’s Jeremiah Smith and far below everyone else.

What has anyone seen to make them think Arch is going anywhere near that high, other than a bunch of talking heads saying that?  I suppose it's possible he turns it around quickly and gets there, but I haven't seen anything thus far

That’s what I’ve been asking as well, he just continues to get rattled at the first sign of stress.
