TexTheHorn24 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They SHOVED Ohio state around in the second half They gave Manning all day long all game in the pocket even when he was struggling anyone got the snap breakdown of Sikorski-Seymore? I think we found a diamond in rough there. Can this unit win the Joe Moore Award? Maybe but right now they need to keep building on that impressive performance. 1 Quote
TexTheHorn24 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Zero penalties on the offensive line and only two the whole game? What a difference that makes. 2 Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 1 hour ago Moderators Posted 1 hour ago OL is the reason Texas won last night, along with Ryan Day not taking the points in the second quarter. Nice to see 1 Quote

Nice to see Maybe Day lacked confidence in the kicker for good reason. That late FG was dead center of the field and was nowhere close to- not even right hash. Quote

Seymore didn't play at all, based on the PFF snap counts. It doesn't surprise me because I don't specifically remember seeing him. Sikorski had a helluva kickout block on Smothers' first touchdown run — a big part of why he practically walked into the end zone. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 32 minutes ago Moderators Posted 32 minutes ago Also, go watch the push that Texas gets from G-C-G on Smothers' game-winner. Robertson, Sikorski and Baker reestablished the line of scrimmage and pushed their guys about a yard deep into the end zone. Texas hasn't gotten that from the interior in games like this. 2 Quote
