OTF on the road: Jax Raines High

Jacksonville, Fla - I’m here for practice at Raines High this afternoon. Rain and off an on today, but looks good for some time this afternoon on the field.

Texas offered 2028 4-star WR/athlete Zion Green on an unofficial visit over the weekend.

NFL HOF’er Brian Dawkins went to Raines

Lito Sheppard was a stud CB here, at Florida and played in the NFL

6 former Raines High players have played in Super Bowl’s

Raines High old school stadium

This is dig it out of the dirt practice field

Dang those are some ballers from Rains High!

I was at the game when the Cowboys ended Harold Carmichael’s consecutive game streak of catching a pass. It was so cold I thought I had frost bite. Dennis Thurman delivered a knock out to him in that game.

Zion Green 6-3.25, 170’ish

Starting cornerback

Green tells OTF Texas offered as a CB first , but rangy safety certainly in play

I like him as a rangy safety … far and away

I remember Lito Sheppard. He was a baller at Florida!
