Baseball: Texas lands big-time 2028 RHP Chase Cotton

Chase Cotton, one of the top right-handed pitchers in the 2028 class, has committed to Texas.

Cotton was on campus for the football game against Ohio State. This is one of the commitments @Blake Munroe hinted at earlier today.

Massive pickup for Jim Schlossnagle and Max Weiner, to say the least.

As with any signing of a high school stud, I worry about the MLB Draft.

I'd recruit him based on his name alone.  He has a AAA Commentator contract waiting for him on completion of his baseball career.
