Right. But the topic was why despite being undefeated people are writing us off. My point is that it’s because our offense isn’t elite and we are an undisciplined football team.

Alternative view after week 3 you have to get to the 39th ranked OFEI to find a defensive schedule rated more difficult than Texas at 16th.  Ole Miss was at 17th but Tennessee was about 20 spots better in DFEI than Florida.

Yeah that is including FCS games because it has Tennessee as a top 40 offense and if you remove the Furman game, their offense drops below Texas.

Ohio State- Ball, Kent St, Illinois, Texas

LSU- Clemson, LaTech, Ole Miss, TAMU

Ole Miss- Louisville, Colgate, LSU, Florida

Ohio State’s schedule outside of Texas has been a joke. They have a highly ranked SOS purely because they played Texas, and Texas gifted them a lot of points before shutting them down.

LSU’s schedule has also been somewhat of a joke outside of Ole Miss, and Ole Miss shut them down for the majority of the game.

Ole Miss vs Florida is a good comparison to Texas vs Tennessee.

Look at what Ole Miss did without their starting RB vs a lesser Florida defense, and compare that with what Texas did vs Tennessee without their starting RB (and key blocker in Townsend)

Florida has played two cupcakes, shootout with a mid Auburn team, then caught Ole Miss on the road after an emotional win and without their starting RB.

Meanwhile, Texas downs Ohio State and Tennessee on the road and people are writing them off.

It’s honestly quite annoying being a Texas fan, because you have to hear the biased media, then you have to hear Texas’ own fans completely disregarding the reality that is difference in SOS
