cdibbs Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Watching Arch highlights from 2024 and it's a legitimately different player. Mechanics, execution, confidence, etc. What happened? Did the pressure break him and/or is this an indictment on Sark? Worth a watch. It's staggering - https://youtu.be/eMxDPBsVouA?si=5dYH9zf3rieEGfS8 Quote

I'm not confident if you put 2026 Arch in the same spots in 2024 he looks half as good. That's a tragedy from a development perspective. Quote
Red Five Posted 54 minutes ago Posted 54 minutes ago (edited) Hey I saw a slant across the middle of the field. That's cool. Btw we used to do this with Ewers too. Probably just a coincidence. Edited 54 minutes ago by Red Five Quote
Alex Butler Posted 49 minutes ago Posted 49 minutes ago Look at arch getting the ball out and in rhythm too. Of course he had talent around him in 2024 on the oline. Quote
Roy Hinojosa Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Arch looks slow, clunky, can't read a blitz, can't audible to the correct play, stares down open receivers and then pulls the trigger too late into double coverage. The performance on the field is all on Arch, and it's not because he's a bum or a JAG; it's because he is a head case and has been all season. So what do you do? Bench Arch? The media firestorm would be one for the ages, and I don't think this team would be able to recover from that. Also, and in my opinion, the Mannings are not going to allow Arch to be benched. We've heard it the last few years, Arch is here to get developed so that he can have a long career in the NFL. This is actually good for Arch because he can work out his head case issues now and not have to deal with it in the NFL. The problem is that we have to deal with the consequences. I'm all for Lacey getting reps or even starting next game, but we'll be at a crossroads when that happens. Quote

At this current pace, Arch will be lucky to have a long career with the Beaumont Renegades. Quote
