Rocky P Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm not sure that the system is his problem. I don't care what system you are in, they don't teach you to ignore wide open receivers or to not identify where a blitz is coming from. Quote

I know he had a stint in the NFL and one decent year at SMU, but on the whole he was never a consistently good QB. Arch has looked like a great QB at time, including the second half of last season. I think he still has first round potential wheres GG never did once we saw his results at the colleagiate level. Garrett Gilbert had a more successful professional career than Arch is on track to have. Arch in year 4 looks like Gilbert as a freshman. Just let that sink in. Quote

So I guess EVERYONE IS WRONG.. I have. One game where they were up and their coach was an idiot and everyone is blaming one player. It's the whole group. Falls on coaching. Quote
Assistant Regional Manager Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago (edited) I find it hard to believe the Mannings are playing shadow OC from the sidelines and dictating what Arch can and can't do. If so, then shame on our staff for allowing it and I hope they pull the plug soon. If you hope to play QB in the NFL, you are going to have to run and you are going to get hit. There is no being "protected" in that league. I would think Archie Manning knows that. Edited 36 minutes ago by Assistant Regional Manager Quote

Arch's natural system is RPO / Running Qb. Papa Archie is focused in protecting Arch from injuries. Sark and UT are in a pickle. Per Chris Carter, Arch's is underdeveloped as a pure pocket passer. It could be due to the OL or RB. What do you think? Has Carter ever seen Arch try to run an RPO? This is a bunch of BS. 1 Quote

Too many turnovers that year for him too and we would do the same disappearing act for 2 quarter that we are doing now. Rolling against UTSA... Quote
