    Why were you expecting this when nobody else was? From the very beginning he was described as a blocking TE from Michigan State. None of the OTF crew every talked about his receiving ability. Not even in camp.

    Do you think other coaches / programs are using Joey's lack of integrity against him in recruiting? He seems like an Art Briles 2.0 waiting to happen. If they'd go to these lengths over a clear "right vs wrong" issue as this, what else would they be willing to overlook or make justifications for?

    Every time they bring up the "rehab" talking point, it's extremely offensive. Outlandish. Apparently their "rehab" included him participating in the very activities he was addicted to betting on. (Not to mention him being a negative influence on others) It's like taking a recovering alcoholic to Spring Break Miami and expecting them not to "relapse". Or having a drug addict hang out with Snoop Dogg and Ozzy Osbourne. Ironically, the NFL and NCAA are the only ones actually looking out for Sorsby by banning him. Joey McGuire and Cody Campbell are so tone deaf, they'd probably take Sorsby to Las Vegas for a weekend and then tell everyone he's "cured" because he didn't place 1 bet the entire time. 🙄

    If "not ready for prime time" was a person, it would be Joey McGuire. He belongs in High School. He seems like he'd be a geography teacher caught in a scandal over using fake AI generated maps and not understanding the backlash.

    Joey McGuire is a really weird dude. His lack of self awareness is bizarre. Texas Tech people have learned absolutely nothing in this entire scenario. They still view themselves as the victims.

    Since nobody has revealed what's actually going on, I don't think it's cool to start lashing out at him. It's also not cool that the media is being so cloak & dagger with this. If it's a non-disciplinary personal issue just say that. If it's over playing time, transfer portal etc just say that too. We haven't heard anything about violating team rules, so the little coy wink & nod games are annoying.

    They continue to do stuff like this and then get butthurt when people rightfully clown them. It's wild to see a group of people over generations with no self awareness. They know they have so few accomplishments in over 100 years, that they have to celebrate just participating in something. Pathetic group of people. (I wanna send this to my Aggie friend, but I know he'll be overly defensive about it)

    Still labeling people "doom & gloom" after what we're witnessing is absurd. Y'all are just in denial. Reality is making y'all look and sound more ridiculous each day.

    What's annoying is, folks pointed this out days ago and we were aggressively yelled at by the crew here and other sunshine pumpers.

    All that talk hyping him up. Are we allowed to be pessimistic and upset now? There was a lot of condescending rhetoric insulting our intelligence, when the "doom & gloom" crowd could clearly see what was going on. Will we get any apologies or acknowledgement that we were right in our perception?
