I would love to hear what bs coach speak he spews forth to justify a continually declining rushing game when he spent a lot of money to improve his rushing game. 1 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Flood really needs to atone for his failures. But it won't happen. 1 Quote

It boggles my mind how this problem has gone on for as long as it has. It’s been three seasons since Texas has had consistent success in the run. Why is that? The athletes are most likely better than they were. Is it the scheming just not meshing nine weeks into the season? I mean how is it possible to have thirteen yards of rushing from running backs alone in the first half. That’s scary man. Why isn’t it working? I honestly don’t care if Texas ends up winning it all, I don’t want to see another three million dollar receiver or running back tandem be wasted. I need a 5 million dollar interior line, especially at center. I don’t like being pessimistic about this team because it’s our team, but at some point you have to be real, and if I’m being real this team is the most bipolar running unit in the country. Please Texas make me eat my words. Flood needs to go no matter what. If the bar was set with PK last year being let go because he simply wasn't good enough, well, he was better than flood, by alot! Aspann85 Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago I wonder what it would have looked like had we gotten the two Michigan guys and what would’ve been said had that line gelled and done well. Sikorski was supposed to be a backup and I’m fairly certain Robertson wasn’t first choice either. Sometimes you get stuck with fallback options. It happens even more now in the NIL days. It’s frustrating for sure, but Flood has still produced some great lineman on the edges. Not sure what the issue is in the middle other than, like I said, we had to go with what we’re supposed to be backups as opposed to first choice. I think they need to go back to Cojoe at left and Siani at right though bc that line actually got push on the left last week and moving people around mid season is never a great result in any league. He shouldn’t get another scapegoat. Two years of failure directly on the HC if we don’t make the playoff. Quote
