This one is a real tearjerker but I felt like I had to share.

Millsap HFC Jacob Johnson passed away on Oct. 23 following a three-year battle with cancer. Johnson is survived by his wife Cassie, daughter Payton, and son Braun.

Millsap is a small town of less than 500 people located about 40 miles west of Fort Worth. The Bulldogs play in a 3A-DII district (that also includes OTF's Blake Munroe's Comanche Indians).

On Friday, the Bulldogs beat Clifton 41-38 to take home the district championship and punch their ticket to the playoffs as a No. 1 seed.

Cassie and Payton delivered the trophy to Braun and he gave an emotional speech Millsap will never forget
