Moderators CJ Vogel Posted June 15 Moderators Share Posted June 15 2025 Jasper TE Kiotti Armstrong has shut things down and committed to Texas A&M. The talented tight end was on campus in College Station this weekend and the Aggies did enough to earn his commitment. Armstrong was scheduled to visit Texas for an official visit the week of June 21–23, though that trip remains uncertain at the moment. Texas still has Emaree Winston in the fold, and will host him and Nick Townsend next week for an OV as well.

yoyocc
He must have really liked the weather to commit that quickly.

VaHorn
Emaree Winston seems more shaky than Brandon Brown, unfortunately.

EHoff99
Wonder if this changes A&M’s chances with Linkon Cure at all. I know they would likely take Cure over Kiotti, so moreso wondering if Cure jumps in, if it may lead to Kiotti jumping out.

NotGerryHamilton
I’m not very worried about this. He might decommit by mid season. Aggies have nobody that can throw a ball further than 15 yds 😂
Jerky
What did that cost em? 6-5 250 Armstrong may develop into a great blocking TE because he is so big. Kiotti had solid production vs 4A competition. While Kiotti Armstrong doesn't resemble Brock Bowers, Kiotti has Sunday upside with his size. Will be interesting to see if Armstrong still takes a TX June OV. We flipped Ag commit Hill last season. Will we try to flip Armstrong? Sark and Banks may prefer to focus on Townsend and/or Edwards because they would be better in a Sark passing attack than Armstrong. 6-3 225 Two-way Townsend was more dynamic than Kiotti. Faster than Kiotti. Impressive 23yds per catch. 6-6 235 Edwards was much more production for 2 seasons than Kiotti. Impressive 19yds per catch.
