For folks in Tulsa who want to come hang out with other Longhorns tonight, I’ll be at the Go West Events Center beginning at 6pm for the annual Tulsa Texas Exes scholarship fundraiser.

Again, it’s a fundraiser so it’s $60 at the door with a deluxe buffet.

Former Longhorn all-conference football player Lance Taylor is the Tulsa Exes president and was nice enough to invite me.

If you’re in the area, come on out and support a good cause if you can.

Taylor was one hell of a LB in the late 70s. I had a coaching friend of mine, who played and lost to Taylor’s HS team, that he was the vest LB he had ever seen.

He's another of the "what might have been if not for injuries" players.
