Bobby Burton Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Texas LB coach Johnny Nansen returned to California today. He visited with staff at Narbonne HS in Los Angeles. Narbonne is home to linebacker Mark Iheanachor, who Nansen had already offered while at Arizona last season. 6 Quote

Robert Gilbert Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Looks like a good athlete who would benefit from concentrating on one position. If Nansen likes him, then I do as well. 1 Quote

I think the staff and Sark is getting its legs and traction with recruits simultaenously. 2 Quote

K. Baughman Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 I think Rod, CJ, and Bobby spoke about it one day on OTF I think when talking about Kenny Baker. Networking is one of the most important qualities in a successful coach. Not just in your coaching contact but your high school coaches, players, schools themselves, and the parents. We are all biased about our own kids and for a parent to know that coaches at a particular school are invested in them for much more than sports. They want them to get an education, taught values, team work, and being a productive person. I played football and baseball in high school. I played baseball in college and other than my father, a few of these coaches made a huge impact in my life. I still think about them till this day and I am 56. It takes a whole lot of work, but these coaches/recruiters invest a lot in the family not just the player. 3 Quote
