Moderators CJ Vogel Posted February 1 Moderators Share Posted February 1 The recruiting trail remains hot for the Longhorn staff. Steve Sarkisian is in DFW following his induction into the East-West Shrine Bowl Hall of Fame in Frisco yesterday. As a result, Sarkisian and offensive coordinator Kyle Flood are currently at Lewisville to see 2025 OL Michael Fasusi. Fasusi was at Missouri during the Texas Junior Day, so it goes without saying that this face time visit is important for the Longhorns.
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted February 1 Moderators Share Posted February 1 The top of the Texas Longhorns offensive tackle board in 2025 ... Fasusi was Texas and OU top 2 the majority of the 2023 season. Texas A&M making a push with new staff. Very high-end pass pro prospect. Robert Gilbert
Fasusi is a must get for 2025. He will continue the most recent run of great UT olinemen.
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted February 1 Moderators Share Posted February 1 We will have more in the future, obviously ... The in-state OL's to really know in 2025 OT Michael Fasusi OT/G Jonte Newman (Cypress/Bridgeland) OT Ryan Fodje (Cypress/Bridgeland) OG Tyler Thomas (Dickinson) OG Jackson Christian (Port Neches-Groves) .... Those guys are very popular in Austin. But there are so many talented ones in the Lone Star State in the cycle that the evaluations will go into the spring.
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted February 1 Moderators Share Posted February 1 Out of state... John Mills (San Francisco/St. Ignatius) is coveted by the Horns. Mills Junior HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2M311F

Feels like both sides of the line are very strong in state with the '25 class.

The OL position is absolutely loaded in 2025. DL has quality depth. Maybe not as many high-end guys like OL. For Texas, OU, Texas A&M and LSU ... enough talent and depth to go around
Hashtag
Was told by a buddy at Lewisville that Fasusi has only been playing football for 3 years and they have him laser timed in the 40 under 5 seconds
