Is this an indictment on development of quarterbacks in CFB??  On the other hand, development of QBs by Sark and Longhorns and Ewers staying another year just got some credibility???

No this is the David Tepper effect.  He has set that franchise back at least a decade.

For Bryce Young’s career this is the best thing that can happen to him. He needs time to step away from the mess of a franchise that place is. Leaving him in there every week at this point wouldn’t accomplish anything.

Just like every freshman isn't ready to start their first year in college, same could be said for rookies at certain positions especially QB. These teams are so set on trying to find lighting in a bottle while paying the QB on a rookie scale that they actually stunt the growth of the qb they drafted.
