Chace Sims, DL, Richmond (Texas) Randle - Texas A&M commit

This weekends scheduled official visit by OnTexasFootball 4-star DL Chace Sims (Richmond, Texas/Randle) is likely to be pushed back. When that visit could happen, we do not know.

Sims' good friend and long time teammate is having surgery Friday from injury sustained recently this season, and the Randle team is going to have an event for him Saturday.

With that said, Texas A&M has been working diligently this week as well to slow down the Texas momentum. We shall see where it goes.

Javion Hilson, EDGE, Cocoa (Fla.) High

Hilson will not visit Texas this weekend due to Hurricane Helena and travel issues. Hilson, 6-4 and 225, will bump back to the Georgia game. That is when Texas defensive line commits Myron Charles (Port Charlotte, Fla./High) and Josiah Sharma (Folsom, Calif./High) are also expected to be in Austin. Hilson and Charles have become friends throughout the recruiting process.

It feels like these visits getting pushed back due to outside forces (not the staff pushing them back) & landing on the Georgia game would seem to be favorable. However, given how crazy everything will be for that visit weekend, it’s going to be interesting to see how recruits feel about the official visit process with all of that going on. Other weeks could benefit recruits that would ideally want a more dedicated OV experience for them individually.

You guys just don’t or wont get it, Huh? Gerry said last week fasusi and dakorien ARE NOT happening.

Whether it’s true or not rumors are circulating.  Recruiting can change on a dime amigo.  Speaking in absolutes no longer applies.   Refer back to July

Gerry has said there is no communication with Fasusi and Texas since Fasusi committed to Oklahoma

Things change. Not really helpful for anyone involved for constant updates on feelings on potential flips.

Probably only helpful for the school that holds the current commitment.
