ryantnelson02 Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 I think Cam will probably need 2 years starting before he is ready to go to the NFL but definitely could be gone after this year if he dominates the SEC with that massive frame. Amarius Mims at Georgia could be the model for Cam. Mims is 340 pounds and was a reserve player his first two years at Georgia before becoming a full-time starter in '23 and he could be a first rounder in April. 3 Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted February 9, 2024 Moderators Posted February 9, 2024 I agree with you Ryan. Two years of starting is ideal for him. I can see him moving up draft boards during last half of the season in 2024 for sure. One year starting - definitely an NFL draft pick Two years starting - Not ruling out first round 5 Quote
GoHorns1 Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 2025 would be a huge contract year,plus a very nice NIL Quote
Bobby Burton Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 I think it all depends on how he looks this season. The best thing for Texas would be for him to start for two years. But if he comes out and dominates, all bets are off. 3 Quote
