Not that a loss next week is acceptable. Exactly. And hopefully 2 straight sec losses cools the ags recruiting momentum
bourbasted
We win, aggies lose and the win for 0u means they will likely keep him another year or so. What a day. 1

But if Aggies win then we beat em, we’d play Georgia I think. I was wrong, if we win we play Georgia.

4thandFive
ESPN just said Georgia is in the SEC game. And that the winner between Texas and Texas A&M plays Georgia.
Lavalulu
It just boggles the mind: OU beat Alabama handily Auburn beat AtM Florida beat Ol’ Miss I am beyond shocked. Texas v AtM will be huge…but Quinn is hurt! Is it possible that Texas’s fate may lie in the hands of Arch Manning?!? If not against AtM, but perhaps SEC championship and/or playoffs?!?!? I love Quinn and he deserves to lead this team to a national title bid…but he’s not 100% right now…what a crazy crazy situation!!!! Finally…with OU’s smack down of Alabama…will this convince Fasusi to stay with OU???? Edited 2 hours ago by Lavalulu
Neil Leininger
With the losses of Alabama, Ole Miss, and aggy today, Texas is all but guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. At least 3 SEC teams are making the playoffs now, those 3 are likely Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. aggy is the other team that can make since they have not been eliminated from the SEC CG, but the aggy team I saw tonight would get blown out by Georgia should they beat us next week. Tennessee has the easiest path with a game against Vanderbilt and no chance at the CCG. If Georgia somehow lost to GT and in the CCG, they would be out, and the darkhorse candidate of South Carolina would likely be in if they beat Clemson this Saturday. They already beat Tennessee and the Vols have no shot at the CCG.
4thandFive
The SEC championship tiebreakers still are murky. If Texas lost (plz no) then there would be a THREE way tie between teams left. I don’t know what happens there.
Derek Handler
Sec Mike just said same thing, Georgia vs Texas/aggy game winner. I forgot about Aggie….
qaertyisthatdude
Tennessee cannot make the SEC title game, but they will make the CFP with a win in Nashville next week. Georgia vs Texas/Texas A&M winner in Atlanta.

4thandFive
Yep. A&M’s Charmin schedule has them one game away from the SEC game. Aggy didn’t play: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, or Vandy… Edited 2 hours ago by 4thandFive
Nathan Larson
It looks like this year it's not your best win but your worst loss is going to dictate your future.
Quinncent McManning, Jr.
Will be interesting to see who gets the coveted cfp number 5 slot. Aside from winning an sec championship that is the best situation

4thandFive
I’d like to think a 10-2 Texas would be in the CFP no matter what. BUT….let’s be 11-1 and go get Georgia.
