817 Boxing B Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 So many of you bag on Quinn not being this or that, well, ask Wink Martindale. A well respected NFL D coordinator, Martindale is confusing Will Howard for OSU, while Quinn played a healthier Michigan defense and absolutely shredded them. When the NFL guys put the tape on, they can see what many of you don't. Quinn is a pro, just young is his development with a helluva floor and an unbelievable ceiling. It's all about how you build it, ask Sark! #HATEWEEK #BEATLILBROTHER #OTFCULTURE 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿💪🏾 8 Quote

justwinbaby Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 With some of the QBs drafted in the first round history, Quinn can’t do any worse than some of them, JaMarkus Russell comes to mind. Quote

GoingForTheCorner Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 So you're saying Quinn is better than Will Howard? I think pretty much everyone agreed on that a long time ago. As far as Quinn in the NFL? He has the talent, which is why he was a 5 star coming out of HS, but the real questions for him are his susceptibility to injury, his ability to develop a deep ball and his pocket presence and ability to consistently handle pressure. I'd love for Quinn to reach his potential in the NFL, but you just don't know how it will work out in the end. I do greatly appreciate what he's done for us though. He's brought us back to respectability and title contention. He can start to answer those questions tonight and (hopefully) into the playoffs. 1 Quote

Daniel Jones. Mitch Trubisky went # 2 overall and the Bears traded three picks to move up to get him. Mahomes went 10th overall in the same draft, so even the pros, with all their scouts and interviews and pre-draft testing, can't pick 'em a lot of the time. I think roughly half the QBs taken in the first round don't offered a 2nd contract. Edited December 1, 2024 by ArizonaLonghorn 1 Quote

League is reaching on more and more QBs because of the rookie contracts that were restructured in late 00s because of players like Vince, Bradford, and Russell. Quote
