I don’t see Murphy being a fit at all for what Auburn wants to do. Hugh Freeze’s management of the portal has been highly questionable his entire tenure.

IMO, Murphy is not as good as Payton Thorne either.

Maalik should stay out of the SEC unless a team has a very good OL. Stay in the ACC, or go west

Quinn will light up the combine and his stock will rise. He played really well overall against Georgia last weekend and that will help too.

Personally, I think McVay wants him and will move up to get him. Probably won’t take a first but no later than 2nd. He fits McVays mold.

Quarterbacks are always over drafted.

That would be a decent spot to land. You've got Stafford at 36, Garoppolo at 33 and Benson at 27. Could easily see him getting to sit a few years and learn from a guy like Stafford.

He might be even less mobile than Ewers and that is saying something, lol.

Although now that you bring it up, maybe Ewers needed a bit of extra beef?

We saw QE reshape his body after his first season here.  Went from a pudgy 215 to a muscular 205 or so.  There was a photo of him bare chested after his transformation, along with the other QBs.  If I can find it I will post it.  MM looked like a TE among the QBs in the photo.

MM can stay in the ACC while playing for a California team next season.  Seems weird.

SEC is the only P4 conference that is geographically contiguous now.

Which reminds me: Wazzu and Oregon St are attempting to revive a PAC by taking the top end of the Mountain West.

Following the 2025-26 academic season, the Pac-12 will expand to include Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State in football as well as Gonzaga in men’s and women’s basketball and other league-sponsored sports. The collective eight universities will continue to collaboratively chart additional membership and other future conference considerations.

The strongest G6 might be a landing spot for MM, as well, football wise, but if he wants to continue his academic journey Texas to Duke to Cal or Stanford sounds good.
