Moderators CJ Vogel Posted Saturday at 06:50 PM Moderators Share Posted Saturday at 06:50 PM Probably weren't 12 deserving teams this year if we are honest.

Gotta get pressure on Klubnik all damn day basically what we didn’t do last year against Penix. Too bad for SMU, I was really hoping they’d upset the Nanny Lyins but they’re just too big and physical especially with that crazy home crowd. Really need that for us today too!! Just keep Klubnik behind the LOS and make him pass. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿

No, the committee did not weigh SOS sufficiently. Mississippi and Bama deserve to be in over these schools.

If any team ever got left out of a Playoff for going 11-1 with a Big 2 conference schedule and the second best margin of victory in the country, there would be outrage. Indiana was deserving. They just got whooped.
DanielOnorato
South Carolina got off to a slow start but I felt as the season went on they were playing just about as good of football as anybody.

Alex Butler
Anyone else superstitious or even a little stitous? I don’t like that the first 2 games are such lopsided wins and we’re favored so heavily. My doom and gloom Eeyore voice is saying Texas is ripe to be upset at home. I’m on the ledge here people!! Help lol!!!

These games have to mean something, otherwise why play?

Help lol!!! Yes I'm into conspiracies and I don't think these entertainment companies want blowouts every game where people tune out. They pay a lot for the rights to broadcast the games and want to maximize revenue. Perhaps I'm crazy but the refs always seem to be unkind to Texas in big games. See Big 12 title vs Oklahoma with Kyler Murray and SEC title game vs Georgia. Hoping they let today be a fairly played game.

horns96
I was really looking forward to a game without the crappy DKR MC today (allllllright, longhorn fans, how you guys feeling, we've got 10 free boxes of Tiff's treats for a few lucky fans....who wants a t-shirt!), but it sounds like these games are just like regular home games.

I agree, I also want to believe they want the bigger teams and fans in the next round so maybe this will be just like March madness. I just hope the crazy game is Tennessee smashing tOSU in Ohio

I agree with Onorato that SC had it very much together at the end of the season. Any bets on PSU against a back-up QB led Georgia?

I'll be disgusted if I see the yellow flags fly every big offensive play for Texas or on touchdowns. Too much referee intervention in today's game, especially at the pro level but everywhere to be honest.

The one that beat Texas handily in October or the one that tried to lose every other game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Penn St wins. It would be worth it to watch Kirby’s meltdown. I agree, gotta win the games you should if Bama takes care of either candy or OU they’re in. Same for Ole Miss. if they take care of Kentucky or Florida they’re in. I get the arguments but there’s never a guarantee that either would’ve been better just because they played in the SEC. South Carolina is the same, they had winnable games and didn’t deliver, the schools that got in and got beaten did what they needed to do to get there. Both games so far have been blowouts because of the bad QB play and INTs in critical situations. Hopefully we can avoid this fate at home! Burnt Orange Horn
It is time to recognize the CFB Committee is not about good football as much as it is about big TV viewing numbers. It is scared to generating the maximum TV ad revenues, not the best teams playing each other.

Eh, disagree. If Alabama lost to OU in Week 4 and then played well like South Carolina, I bet they’d be in.
