The media team is awesome. And that really matters the job they do as far as recruiting and selling the brand and school. If not the best in CFB , then at the top and in the conversation for sure.🤘

Listening to the game on the radio is really pretty cool.

I grew up listening to Kern Tips calling SWC games on the Humble Oil Network.  

One of the best games I remember was Texas vs Oregon when Oregon had Mel Renfro of Dallas Cowboys fame.  Pretty sure he played both ways because his name was called all night long.  

Kern Tips and Craig are true legends of the radio.

Which year was that?  I swear I went to that game but could not remember the year.  I think it was one of the first 3 games of that year.

It was 1962.  

I remember it was early '60's but couldn't remember exactly but I knew it wasn't '63 the MNC year.

Had to look it up though,  we won 25-13.

Sounds like you have the same memory cells that I have.  I think Renfro scored the first TD of the game.

Ah, 1962.  I was not in Austin then.  Hmmm .....
