If you double your bet every game, then all you need to do is win the last game.

lol - I tried this in my younger years in Vegas on Roulette. I thought I had it all figured out playing black and red. I would wait for 3 in a row and then bet the opposite and keep playing that color but doubling my bet every time.  Of course, Vegas wins because of Table Limits!  At some point, I could not keep doubling my bet.

And if you start with a $1 dollar bet, lose 10 in a row, then win the 11th, you are betting $1024 on that 11th bet, and when you win, you realize a net return of $1.

Have enjoyed your posts for years in different places...

This reminds me of why, way back in the 1970s, my SAT verbal was perfect and my Quant was one point above Stanley the Chimp!

I have to spend $ in the restaurants in Vegas and stay away from the tables!

mred's SEC basketball standings generator says Texas will get to 10 wins, tied for eighth.

But the schedule is such that they could win them all or lose them all. I expect something in between.

Pomeroy favors us in 6 remaining games but rounds the total w-l to 5-6.  The differences are rounding and Pomeroy not favoring at Arky.

But neither of these projections are taking injuries into account.  I will be floored if we get to 10-8 with Kaluma missing several more games.

Obviously that would change things a bit.
