  1. 27-17 Horns in a closer than it shoulda/woulda/coulda
  2. Thx for that. I see those posts from you and Gerry. I know your competitors have recruiting boards. I don’t think any of OTF intel is going to sabotage recruiting efforts (at least it better not or we have bigger issues).
  3. Love the content and appreciate your guys hard work Any chance we can get a recruiting board that is permanently pinned or even in a tab up top next to forums. I was thinking chart style (think excel layout) with the pertinent info and maybe a link to the players HUDL film etc. I would like to be able to see at anytime who is in the 2027 class and who we are still pursuing as well as the 2028 class (even 2026, 2025, etc). Thx!!! @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton @Hank South @CJ Vogel
  4. 1. This is 💯 the responsibility of Sark as he controls scheme and personnel. However, I don’t think the blame is on Sark, the players need to do their job. Give me 50% OL, 35% Arch, and 15% play calling. We can’t run the ball. That is on the OL. Arch is running for his life at times - that is mostly an OL issue. Now with Arch - he is not seeing the field well and holding the ball too long. He is not confident right now and is not content taking small profits like the FL QB was willing to do. Play calling needs to help more but the best play call won’t work if you can’t block and can’t find the open guy. 2. No way Sark straight up benches Arch. If he is going to give KJ some run we are going to have a mystery injury to Arch. 3. I think we need to try Hutson at center and Seymour at LG and see what happens. Let’s go under center and run down hill with Qb boots and waggles. 4. I hear everyone calling for more Bishop and 5 wide. The issue is when you have a QB who is not reading the field well, adding more options and things to read can it more complicated to find the right WR unless you only read half the field. 5. This is definitely a cluster $&@# and not what any of us saw coming. Can Sark right the ship? TBD.
  5. EST - Fort Mill, SC It js 4:09am and OU sucks!!!
  6. Crazy to think this answer was always Vanderbilt until Clark Lea and these past two seasons. Heck - Indiana would have made the list before Cognetti. Things can change fast!!
  7. Maybe this is whom Bobby hinted at. Another site reporting Jerrick Gibson to transfer https://www.burntorangenation.com/texas-longhorns-football/96907/jerrick-gibson-leaves-texas-longhorns-program-transfer-portal
  8. I am not saying Arch is injured. However, forgive us if we don’t trust Sark who never told us about Worthy’s injury that he played through or Quinn’s injury, etc. Arch definitely grimaces and has some serious stinker throws.
  9. A different perspective from Dan Orlovksy. Dan says it was not Arch playing poorly as much as Matt Patricia dialing up NFL concepts that Arch had never seen. It is a good 2min 30sec video. Instagram link
  10. Hook me up too! Thx
  11. I don’t understand all the hand wringing. Guys - this is simple. Here is Sark’s strategy: 1. Invite guys to visit unofficially to show they are interested. 2. Have guys come on official visits and show them all the amazing things UT has to offer and have them fall in love. 3. Start handing out NIL offers as a way to “choose” the guys they want. Low ball guys that are low on the list and see if you can get “value” commitments and give the guys you want a “solid competitive offer”. 4. Guys who love UT will commit with NIL offers that are on or under budget. 5. Guys who do not commit but the staff really wants - you keep recruiting through the whistle with knowledge of what the NIL market is for the player. 6. Circle back in December and match NIL offers for guys you want and since they loved everything about UT they will choose the good guys by simply matching or getting close to the NIL number. This ensures UT is never setting the market or bidding against themselves. Effective and genius!!
  12. Maybe we are not watching the same tape. That is a man among boys on the film! Admittedly, I cannot speak to the competiton level, however, that guy pops on tape IMO.
  13. @Gerry Hamilton Meaning you think it is Bama or NOT Bama? Michigan and Texas were thought to be the leaders, right?
  14. My daughter’s friend is doing an AP research project on whether your political affiliation is correlated to your beliefs on schizophrenia. No personal data needed. Takes 2-3 mins. Thx!! Survey
  15. Exactly!!! We were young and poor so did $10, $20, $40, $80, etc. table limit of $1000 got us
  16. lol - I tried this in my younger years in Vegas on Roulette. I thought I had it all figured out playing black and red. I would wait for 3 in a row and then bet the opposite and keep playing that color but doubling my bet every time. Of course, Vegas wins because of Table Limits! At some point, I could not keep doubling my bet.
  17. I heard Joel Klatt discussing how the game plan was to get to the perimeter in short yardage situations. That is what the tape shows since OSU (similar to us) has had many goaline or short yardage stuffs. i am surprised we did not bring Arch in for some zone read / boot options. edit: Just heard Arch was not available. He was concussed on the other run play. True??!?!?
  18. Having an older and experienced team matters. One thing I don’t think has been discussed much re: Texas and the transfer portal is Sark seems to get one year rentals. He seems to not want to rock the boat with multi year eligibility guys that are not planning to go pro. He has seen it did not work out with Cole or Savea or Carter. He likes to sprinkle on top with players off to the NFL. i understand that is a luxury but also different that some schools approach.
