Bevo92 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 8 catches on 8 targets for 157 yds and 2 TDs. The only bright spot for the Chiefs. Good for Worthy. Sets tone as the #1 receiver for Chiefs going into the spring. 15 2 Quote
Bevo92 Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 That 50yd TD bomb from Mahomes to Worthy in final 2 mins was impressive. Worthy tracked it down. Looking forward to seeing how his game progresses the next couple years. 1 Quote

Would have loved to see Worthy get more targets in first half. Chiefs had zero offense through first 43 mins. Final 17 mins of the game, Xavier and the Chiefs made the score somewhat respectable. The Quinn revisionist stance by many Texas fans is somewhat baffling. Quinn can make every throw. As Gerry always says, Sark doesn't take a QB that can't make all the throws. Quinn's inconsistency on longer throws comes from his inconsistent mechanics and footwork. Dropping the ball below chest level, not keeping his feet ready for all throws, trying to rely solely on his arm talent, etc. He could get away with that on short to intermediate throws, although he would sometimes sling the ball rather than driving it on those throws too, which led to some of his interceptions. At the beginning of seasons, his mechanics and footwork were better. As the season went along and he got dinged up, his fundamentals would slide. Scouts and GMs must decide if they think they can straighten out those things. If they think they can, then Quinn is as good or better than QB in this draft. Problem is, he hasn't done it yet. He is only 21, however. Quote

Quinn has roughly a handful or little more of legit good deep throws out of over 1100 passing attempts. 4 hours ago, harveycmd said: The Quinn revisionist stance by many Texas fans is somewhat baffling. He can make every throw but not with consistency. He’s also not a driver of the ball with his arm strength and that’s what causes his deep ball to be less accurate. if you read a lot of the scouting reports that are coming out now that he’s going to the draft they’re littered with complaints fans have had about Quinn in real time during the season, not revisionist Edited February 10 by Hashtag Quote

They didn’t even get pass mid-field all game until that TD I believe Quote

He beat Dejean on the long catch that setup his touchdown where CJ Gardner-Johnson was covering. The second was backups for sure. Quote
