Five-star combo guard Aaliyah Chavez led Lubbock Monterey to a state championship on Saturday morning, beating Liberty Hill 59-31. 

Chavez had 19 points on the day.

I didn’t. One of my really good friends is a HS girls coach and she took her team today to the tournament. She sent me those pictures. 

I was in Goldthwaite for basketball today for my middle son (his team won the whole thing) and then hauled butt to Hawley (west of Abilene) for Colt’s baseball tournament.

If she picks OU simply style of play suits her better than Vic's offense. With $ being equal that will and always was the deciding factor imo. Hope I'm wrong, but I never believed her father would let her play in Vic's offense. He is running the show believe that. Would rather Tech get her to screw OU , and we wouldn't face her year after year ha! We shall see at 2 something today.
