Flores makes the play to get the Longhorns out of the inning. The Red Raiders strand two in the bottom of the first and the game is scoreless after one.

Chamberlain walks to load the bases, Farmer gets hit by a pitch and the Longhorns strike first.

It’s a 1-0 lead for Texas with one out and the bases loaded in the top of the second.

There’s a big blow. Galvan comes through with a two-run double to left. It’s a 3-0 lead for the Longhorns.

BOOM!  Three-run bomb by Mendoza and a solo shot by Gasparino make it a 7-0 game.

Seven runs on five hits for Texas in the top of the second. The Longhorns knocked the Tech starter out of the game. Harrison takes the mound with a 7-0 lead.
