Grubbs has been solid.  The more I watch this team the more I like them.  Happy to sacrifice the occasional Tuesday loss for fine-tuning things against a non-con team if we can take series like this in conference.

Farmer opened the eighth with a walk, but the promising start was all for naught. Farmer was thrown out at second base trying to steal and Duplantier struck out, bringing Mendoza to the plate with two outs.

If we could cut down on the strikeouts (13) it might ease some of the tension.  Luckily we had some clutch hitting.  I agree with some others that a bit more lineup shuffling is probably needed.  Flores had a nice double but his SEC batting average is not good.  Of course, almost everyone's has gone down since SEC play started.
