Clint Baros Posted yesterday at 08:37 AM Posted yesterday at 08:37 AM I know sometimes you guys do guests whether that's coaches, players, player's parents, etc. I do not believe yall have had on Scott Wilson before, i'm sure one of yall probably know who he is, but if not he has been to 1,500+ straight Longhorns baseball games both home and away/neutral. He also hasn't missed one football game since some year in the 1970's. I know this platform is mainly about news regarding the team and all that, but I just thought it would be an interesting idea to hear his experiences being at virtually every game in both football and baseball no matter the location and essentially dedicating his life to Texas athletics. Hook em'🤘 Is he the dude with long hair that gets the chants going at the baseball games? We call that guy “superfan” if that’s who you are referring to. Quote

I met him at the final regular season big 12 baseball game last may, I believe he graduated in 1977. I remember in the final baseball game last season vs Louisiana in the college station regional. It was frying hot outside, we lost the game 10-2 and there were maybe 30 texas fans left at the end of the game including parents of players. I was there till the last pitch and even though we lost, I witnessed him proudly lead the team in the eyes of texas. No matter how bad the team may be, he will always support them. 2 Quote
