Pansies don't want to work out. Kobe begged to work out against every player in the draft and any all-pro who would play against him when he was 17 in 1996.  Kicked butt up and down the trail. Greatest basketball talent evaluator of all time, Jerry West, said "Shut it down. He's the best." You don't get that any more.

Balls. West traded for Kareem. Drafted Magic. Drafted James Worthy, Byron Scott. Five titles. Kobe told him he was better than all those guys. Nothing compares.

Apparently we took a time machine to 29 years ago and we're in the USA and it's the NBA Draft for NBA fans now

Reason they don't nut up like Kobe  is because they can't.

I remember watching NBA draft night 1996 when the Lakers traded Vlade Divac for Kobe as the number fourteen pick. Many pundits said the kid can't shoot. Said kid can't handle the ball. Jerry West said Kobe's the best player I've ever seen in the draft.
