Experts are telling you in real time about Quinn Ewers’ abilities, and skills, unfortunately Sark either didn’t see his shortcomings or chose to ignore. Arch a likely top 5 or top 10 draft pick — spent the year on the bench behind a player who hasn’t been picked halfway through the 6th round. If Arch Manning had been the starting quarterback from the beginning of the season, Texas would have won the national championship. That’s a major failure on Sarkisian’s part as a coach.

What are we not seeing that's causing someone to not at least take a chance on Quinn?  He's still a young QB and the arm talent is far superior to some of the QBs already drafted.

Is this a bad look on qb development at Texas?  Quinn was a 1.000 recruit.   I’m not saying it is but if I was an opposing coach id be using this an an example.   Throw in Maalik’s throwing mechanics as well.

Get over yourself. Quinn had a stellar career for us. Being a hindsight fortune teller is the easiest thing in the world to do.

Some in our fanbase just didn't want to hear it on Quinn. Is what it is. He just doesn't have NFL starter tools so why burn a pick on him when you have the opportunity to make your team better with someone else?

Gerry hasn't commented...but he saw what we saw about Quinn.  Quinn made mistakes a 3rd year starter cannot make.  

And when he fumbled and allowed a TD the other direction in the 4th quarter of a game we had the chance to win against tOSU, that was just one more nail in the coffin.

But...I still feel sick about it.  He was propped up by so many to be a sure 1st rounder and now we don't even know if he will be drafted.  He's got to be devastated.

It's really not. Anything further than 15 yards or so is a complete duck. Wildly inaccurate and the ball just hangs and hangs. Most anyone can throw short passes accurately enough in the NFL which is his only real strength. He's also immobile and uncoordinated. There's no physical upside at all that make you think he would be a contributor at the pro level. If you watch some of the Golden highlights they show, he is having to adjust to some hideous passes.

Really should have hit the portal as he is still a pretty good college QB that would have had 7 figure offers.

They were wondering what can be used against Texas in recruiting.  This draft is giving programs a lot of ammo so far.  This is a big next two seasons for Sark.  He has to get over the hump at least once with Arch imo

Maybe it has been discussed on one of the shows, but it seems to me that Cam Williams got some terrible advice. Most of the season, Gerry said he had a first or second round grade, so couldn’t afford to stay. What changed?

The draft that Texas got 3 into the first round for the first time in 45 years is going to be used against them? 🤔 Almost as good of a take as some of Mel Kiper’s.

He needs to fire the agent that told him to have a draft party yesterday. The last shot didn’t even have him in it. His parents were the only ones sitting there.
