5-star Texas QB commit Dia Bell posted a video on twitter Monday taking part in a basketball workout with his brother Tai Bell, who is one of the top 2028 prospects in Florida and the country.

Spending 2 years with Arch and Sark is the best thing that could possibly happen for Bell.

I am biased, but I think Bell has rare potential.  He and Arch back to back is going to spoil Longhorn fans.

Dare I say they could surpass having Mayfield and Murray back to back?  With the added bonus of being homegrown players for Texas and not transfers from Tech and A&M.

He has pretty elite athletic instincts IMO

A 20+ PPG scorer as a freshman combo guard ... obviously having Raja as dad helped developed his skills, but he still has elite feel/instincts for sports

Off topic, didn't Winston also play basketball in HS? I remember an SBN article - I think - that said he averaged something like 13 rebounds per game in HS at 6-1.

BTW, Winston's listed height and weight scream "fullback" a la Ahmard Hall. He ran some in HS, so I wonder if he is an option running or blocking as a FB near the goal line, who could leak out for a pass, as well.

Forgive the digression - it was prompted by the footballer on the hardwood post.
