Interesting that Will Gasparino is the odd man out. He was pulled late in Sunday's loss to Florida.

I asked about him in the other thread.  Is he hurt?  He is an asset in CF even if he is slumping at the plate.

He’s not hurt. At all.

Gaspo must’ve really done something to have Farmer starting over him when Farmer dropped two balls last weekend against the wall.
Gaspo can’t lay off a high 2 strikes fastball, and I believe he was one of the base runners who lost track of the outs. He was carrying us earlier this year. Maybe a benching can help him reset.

Wasn't Schloss quoted as saying he was pulled for "an internal team matter"?

Weird time to address an "internal team matter". I'm assuming he ignored a sign or something?

Schloss has called it an "internal" issue that resulted in Gasparino's yanking on Sunday. Read into that what you will.

Probably wouldn't be as much of an issue if he hadn't been pulled for a mistake running the bases in Fayetteville that resulted in a double play.

Belyeu chases a nasty breaking ball by Witherspoon and Galvan records a first-pitch groundout to end the inning. Witherspoon retires the Longhorns in order in the first.

I’m more concerned about pitching. Kade Bing doesn’t give me the warm fuzzies. Hope he’s lights out and I eat crow.

It's been a minute since we've seen him. Hopefully, he can turn the page and be a reliable arm in the postseason.
