Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 5 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 5 hours ago That's big league stuff from Doyle. When you can locate the high heat and the back it up with a big-time breaker, that's a hard combination to beat. 3 Quote

Bevo92 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Question for @Jeff Howe or @Blake Munroe or @CJ Vogel. What are your thoughts on Ethan Walker? I heard Schloss just now describe him as a JUCO Walk-on this season and they made some adjustments to his pitching mechanics, including where he stood on the rubber and they like what they see today. Now that he's going back through rotation for second look, will be interesting to see if he can keep it up. Hook Em!! 1 Quote
bourbasted Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Doyle has settled in. Hoping the high pitch count early starts to impact him soon, as he looks solid. But who is Ethan Walker?!?? Out there going full Goose Gossage on Tenn. 2 Quote

Bevo92 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Have you ever seen a catcher try to bare hand a wild pitch outside? That was funny. Quote

More specifically, will be interesting to see if this turns into a much bigger win, simply by seeing we may have another pitcher available in the rotation with Walker. Who would have thought he could get through 4 innings with no hits, no runs. What a great start for Walker!! Edited 4 hours ago by Bevo92 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 5 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 5 hours ago Adrian Rodriguez led off the bottom of the fourth with a double. He advanced to third on a wild pitch, putting the Longhorns' second run of the game 90 feet away with no outs. 2 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 5 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 5 hours ago Flores does his job with an RBI sacrifice fly to left field. Rodriguez scores with no play at the plate. Texas leads Tennessee in the bottom of the fourth, 2-0. 2 Quote
.45s Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Terrible throw by the leftfielder. He should use the other hand next time. 1 Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 4 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 4 hours ago Borba moves Gasparino to third on a single to left. Gasparino went from first to third on that sharp liner. It's first and third with two outs for Mendoza. Quote
bourbasted Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Mendoza is clutch! Nice insurance with 2 outs! 3 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 4 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 4 hours ago Mendoza drives the first pitch he sees to right field. It goes off the wall. Chapman had trouble with it, helping Borba and Gasparino score. Mendoza's two-run triple makes it a 4-0 lead for the Longhorns. 6 Quote
