Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted yesterday at 02:58 PM Moderators Posted yesterday at 02:58 PM College Hoops: NBA withdrawal deadline May 29 The 2025-26 college basketball season will definitely be impacted this week. Houston - Milos Uzan withdraws from draft. UH has been No. 1 preseason ... they wouldn't have been had Uzan stayed in draft IMO. Still think they are young in too many spots, but we shall see. Arkansas - SF/W Karter Knox withdraws. Big for Arkansas hopes to be a second weekend team again. Indiana - PG Tayton Conerway withdraws, heads to Indiana. Doesn't shoot it well, but a solid piece for IU in year one for DeVries. Stay or go: Florida - PF Alex Condon. Big decision here for the National Champion and SEC champs. If Condon returns, they will be the SEC favorites in 2025-26 for me. Auburn - PG Taj Pettiford. Huge swing for the Auburn 2025-26 season and projections with this decision. Kentucky - G Otega Oweh. Should he return, the Wildcats will have a very solid squad on paper in year two under Mark Pope. Arkansas - Big man Adou Thiero. Could go either way here. Big decision for the 2025-26 Razorbacks on deck. Likely staying in draft: Michigan - Will take a hit should PF Yaxel Lenderborg stay in as expected. 2 Quote

Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Author Moderators Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Texas A&M - PF Mackenzie Mgbako is withdrawing from the draft. Possible late second round if he had stayed. Big for the Aggies in year one of Bucky Ball. Quote

Not sure who it will be. I will say this, it will be surprising to me if it's a major minute player. Just not enough minutes to go around at guard. There is one very good one out there Texas has been talking to, but I believe there will be another spot more appealing to agent/player. It will be a multi-year player IMO. Could be international, or could be a younger player from the states that would be a role player with more second year expectations. 3 Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Author Moderators Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Here is a big one from a national rankings perspective ... Had posted this ... "Likely staying in draft: Michigan - Will take a hit should PF Yaxel Lenderborg stay in as expected." He has withdrawn despite being a likely late first round selection. Huge for Michigan in year two under Dusty May. 1 Quote

Sundancekid Posted yesterday at 04:59 PM Posted yesterday at 04:59 PM Seems like we need one more guard good enough to play some real minutes this coming season. If one of our guards gets injured… we would be pretty thin. 1 Quote
