2027 Chandler (Az) running back Noah Roberts took a midweek visit to see Texas this afternoon.Β

Roberts, a 6-foot-1-inch, 210-pound running back was offered by the Longhorns on May 5 and already is showing interest with a visit to Austin.Β

Texas has had plenty of success recruiting success in Arizona recently and Roberts comes in as the highest rated running back from the state of Arizona since Bijan Robinson.Β

Let’s go ahead and give money to MJC and Roberts and lock them up so we don’t have the same stress the next cycle for RB that we do this cycle 🀣

Glad he's at someplace cool during our heat spell (also known as Arizona summer) ... it's 114 F here today in Chandler.Β  I live about 1.5 miles from the Chandler school district - in Christian Clark's district - and the gym I use is clogged with kids rocking the "Wolves" workout gear in the summer.

We used to be neighbors. I lived in Chandler and Gilbert. It's been a long time. Chandler Hamilton had only been in existence a couple of years when I left.

I like the AZ to ATX rb pipeline. Hopefully Clark shows out this year and we can bring Roberts into the fold as well in 2027. Looks like the physical back we needed last year.Β

Two hour drive from my house to Flagstaff.Β  I'd bet I've driven it 50 times, headed to the Grand Canyon or Moab or to ski outside Flag at Snowbowl in the winter.

Every summer when it gets over 110 F here in the Valley of the Sun the folks in higher, cooler elevations (Payson, Sedona, Prescott, Flagstaff) start smirking and throwing shade our way πŸ™‚Β  Three of my neighbors have cabins or condos in/near Flag - they leave Phoenix in May and come back in October, lucky dogs.

Usually 20 degrees cooler. Went to Moab and floated Cataract Canyon in mid May. Will go again when CFS is much higher (only 15,000 because low snow pack this year.)
