I am saying we shouldn't be banking to flip guys late They won’t? We will be at 20+ commitments by the time the ball is kicked off in Columbus. 3 total players last year were flips in a 25 man class. 1

Good point. The $20m cap is a bit of an equalizer. Not sure if a lot of current players are under deals outside of the cap, which would allow us to allocate more of the cap $ to 2026 recruits. However, I would suspect it’s the same for other schools also.

Y’all ain’t getting me for a 3rd year. It will all be fine boys. Classes are being assembled earlier this cycle. We have around 17 guys that ovd to Texas that commit before July 15th. We are ofer a bunch of them already. A 35% hit rate on those 17 would be 6 players. As of now, where do those six come from? Not saying time to panic, but the numbers are dwindling.

Texas is getting Guervil. As I posted before I’m leery on any Aledo recruit because they don’t live to ranking and hype..

TexasLonghorns Posted yesterday at 07:48 PM Posted yesterday at 07:48 PM Bobby on Wednesday when talking about the upcoming commitments: “Texas won’t get all but will get most”. When does the most thing happen?

When does the most thing happen? Has any of the recruits we’ve missed on shown and up and enrolled at a different university? Until then, there really is no reason to freak out. Patience is needed.

AJJ_Sports Posted yesterday at 07:54 PM Posted yesterday at 07:54 PM A lot of people are new to recruiting I see.

Not all legacy recruits want to go to that school. Some want to carve out their own path.

He had a long post on this very site talking about how winning around 40% of the recruiting battles would be impressive considering the level of prospect. 1
Shmatt Posted yesterday at 07:57 PM Posted yesterday at 07:57 PM Texas is getting their behind whooped in recruiting rn whoof. Sark has a Kirby problem till he beats him. We are also just losing some of these head to heads. Were gonna have another top 10 class fs. Just wondering how we don’t have momentum on the recruiting trial with a 5 star qb in and back to back semi appearances.

Sundancekid Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM I don’t think Bobby ever said we would get “most”. He and Gerry have said repeatedly that with number of top recruits we are bringing in 30-40% is doing great. 1
Joe Zura Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM And the name calling has begun we have officially turned into orange bloods and inside Texas do better yall holy crap 6 1
