The Longhorns just concluded their second and final scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday, and now preparations for Ohio State ramp up.

@Jeff Howe and I are on scene and will provide updates accordingly in the comments down below.

Sarkisian says he misspoke on Saturday after the scrimmage:

it was Hero Kanu who blocked

Matthew Caldwell led the two minute drill with the first team unit that resulted in a field goal

Santana Wilson picked off Trey Owens as well.

Sarkisian says Neto is at his best when he’s playing with a high level of physicality.

“When you have a good fastball, you’re going to throw your fastball.”

Says Umeozulu’s fastball is his physicality

Sarkisian says TyAnthony Smith, Anthony Hill and Jelani McDonald are all very good tacklers.

Really good stuff from Sark on where the depth is right now in the program.

He talked about his season at Alabama as an analyst in 2016 when he saw guys like Quinnen Williams and Trevon Diggs on the scout team. He feels like Texas is taking the right steps to be that kind of program.

Presnap was much better Saturday per Sark.

Sark says the next step is to incorporate more crowd noise. Over the next two weeks, it will be ramped up.

Connor Stroh has put in a lot of work and changed his body.

Spencer Shannon and Jordan Washington

Parker Livingstone “can’t say enough about what he’s done.”

Sark asked how he feels about the running game: “I feel pretty good!”

That was the extent of his response.

This can mean a lot of things. How do you interpret his response based on body language, context, etc?

Sark says he’s looking Patriots Matt Patricia, Lions Matt Patricia and all of what Ohio State did a year ago.

Mentions Patricia is really the only new face the room.

I took it as a positive.

Sark said he’s watching a lot of NFL film and Ohio State film from last season to prepare for Matt Patricia. Ohio State returns their entire defensive staff, minus Jim Knowles, so he has to prepare for balance between what the Buckeyes did last season and what new wrinkles Patricia might bring to the table.

Sark reiterating that he’s not too consumed with who starts and who doesn’t. He thinks they could play upwards of 30 guys on defense in the Ohio State game.

RB Quintrevion Wisner and DB Jelani McDonald practiced fully today.

LT Trevor Goosby will be held out the next day or two out of caution, but “will be fine,” per Sark.
