Califashorn75 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago She is the VP of the players union and came in 2nd on the MVP vote. Her voice is powerful. The W suffers from really inconsistent officiating, not valuing their superstars, yet the last two years have brought unprecedented growth, money, revenue from sold out stadiums, and league expansion. Likely we will have a lockout next year. 1 1 Quote
Neil Leininger Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The WNBA would fail without being bailed out each year by the NBA, which owns 42% of the league. All the growth is due to one lady and she gets crapped on by the rest of the league regularly. 1 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Look at the price of the new franchises. Someone (Owners) are making a ton. The new TV contracts will bring in more money too. It's at an all time high in popularity. Cameron Brink, Lexi Hull, Aliyah Biston, Paige Beckers, Sonya Citroen are all very popular. Of course CC is too. 1 Quote

The players have far more leverage than they've ever had. These players come in the league with a huge following and the league does nothing to maximize the new found popularity of Angel, Clark, Paige, and when JuJu get to the league, her star power on and off the court will be unmatched.
