Disappointing Recruits

In the age of NIL, I'm curious what happens if a recruit has committed to a school but then has a disastrous senior year of high school. Would the offer/commitment have to be honored, or can an offer be rescinded?

Ohio State and Texas just cut one each ... both had deals on some level. Definitely happens

Also happens once they get on campus and don’t warrant the salary they’re getting. See: WR room.

Does the same go for their time on campus? If i a guy doesn’t play up to the type of NIL money he is getting

Probably wasting several million on 4 freshmen that aren't playing and several likely to enter portal.

I thought Ffrench would be a starter by November. Missed it by that much.
